What to do Now
Do not attempt to drive through flooded roads, underpasses and low lying roads--even a few inches of moving water can carry cars away. The NWS recommendation is to turn around, don t drown.
Keep a close watch on local conditions and radar--things can vary rapidly.
Residents of or close to the affected counties should remain vigilant to other warnings or directions given by the authorities.
We are monitoring the changing weather warnings as well--please feel free to ask for updates later today or advice on how to prepare/re-enter safer territory.
