What is happening / Who is Tyler Robinson

Tyler Robinson, aged 22, is the suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who was shot dead at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10.

He was arrested in Utah, Washington County.

Evidence & his identification.

Robinson supposedly confessed or hinted at his involvement to a family member, who contacted a family friend, which triggered law enforcement.

Investigators also used:

Discord messages mentioning picking up a rifle in a drop point.

CCTV footage of him, which included video of him leaping out of a rooftop close to where the shot was thought to have been discharged.

Written bullet casings. Examples: one is Hey fascist! Catch! another “If you read this you are gay LMAO, another alludes to Bella Ciao.

Status, commentary, and charges.

Robinson has been charged with such felonies as aggravated murder and felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury.

He is assumed by authorities to have been solitary. 

Those who have been praised to have helped in the tip-off include Governor Spencer Cox and others.

It is still under investigation, and it is not yet established what the motive is.
